Intelligent CI/CD at scale: Autonomous agents transforming software delivery pipelines

Modern software organizations struggle with increasingly complex CI/CD pipelines that rely heavily on manual intervention and static configurations. This presentation introduces an agentic AI-driven framework that transforms CI/CD from reactive automation into intelligent, self-healing systems capable of autonomous planning, execution, and continuous optimization. The framework uses intelligent agents to perform semantic analysis of code changes, synthesize relevant tests, diagnose pipeline failures, and make adaptive deployment decisions based on system context and risk assessment. It presents a four-part solution addressing enterprise adoption: formal architecture defining agentic principles, end-to-end autonomous workflows from code commit through production deployment, governance models ensuring safety and compliance, and empirical evaluation.
