PlatformCon themes
Talks are divided into three core themes. Choose the one that best fits your story.
Theme 1: The platform stack
Focus: Technical foundation
This theme dives into the underlying technologies and practices that make platforms work. Talks and workshops cover infrastructure, Kubernetes, IaC, GitOps, security, observability and other foundational components that form the “platform beneath the platform.”
Theme 2: Platform engineering in practice
Focus: Platform as a Product
This theme is about moving from raw tech into a deliberately designed product. It covers topics such as stakeholder buy-in, packaging platforms as products, organisational and cultural transformation, and measuring ROI. It highlights the human and business layer of platform engineering, how to build, position, and sustain an enterprise platform that developers actually adopt.
Theme 3: The enabled enterprise
Focus: Organizational impact
This theme looks outward at the impact, how platform engineering becomes a force multiplier for enterprises, enabling AI adoption, accelerating innovation, embedding security, observability, and FinOps by design, and making organisations more adaptable and resilient. It’s about the enterprise of the future and the role PE plays in enabling it.
