Enabling GenAI at scale: A platform approach to real impact

It started with a platform question: how can teams experiment with GenAI safely, without cost overruns, security risks, or procurement deadlocks?

The team built a shared GenAI layer on top of AWS Bedrock that acts as a proxy for cost visibility, budgets, centralized access control, and secure key distribution. It is technically simple but strategically essential. By absorbing risk centrally and staying vendor-agnostic, it enabled safe, scalable experimentation.

On this foundation, the team embedded GenAI into real workflows, including a context-aware CI/CD troubleshooting assistant, ticket triage automation, and community-built code review bots.

It also enabled GenAI-assisted programming at scale, leveraging existing AWS contracts to avoid procurement friction and long approval cycles.
