Unleashing potential: The DevX initiative at iA Financial Group

iA Financial Group, once a late follower in technology, decided some five years ago to remain competitive by changing its philosophy by introducing innovation and integrating state-of-the-art technologies into its IT ecosystems. While this mindset change brought significant benefits, it has also considerably increased the cognitive load on IT teams and challenged their efficiency in generating sustained business value. With this in mind, we recently launched the DevX initiative. Designed to improve the experience of our development teams, this initiative aims to abstract the complexity of our technology ecosystems by focusing on four fundamental pillars: DevSecOps maturity, platform engineering, AI adoption, and software engineering.
