Lucas Hornung is a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer at Tchibo, combining backgrounds in political science and applied computer science to help operate and evolve the cloud and platform backbone of the company’s webshop, while driving GitOps adoption with Flux and Flagger. Outside of work, he is pursuing a PhD in Generative AI and enjoys reading both fantasy novels and bedtime stories to his kids.
