Christian Matthaei is a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at Tchibo, responsible for operating the webshop’s cloud and platform backbone. Passionate about efficiency, automation and GitOps, he runs Kubernetes clusters, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, observability with Datadog and CI/CD with GitLab, enabling the webshop to deliver software at scale. Outside work, Christian explores creativity as an indie game developer and enjoys cycling in Watopia on Zwift, usually trying not to get dropped.
