Reconciliation as security control: Closed-loop GitOps for multi-cloud resource governance
GitOps-driven adaptive multi-cloud governance with closed-loop feedback to detect and remediate resource configuration drift, enforce policy as code, and enable controlled self-healing in multi-cloud operations.

Arun explores building a closed-loop feedback system using GitOps pipelines to detect configuration drift, enforce policy as code, and self-heal cloud resources in multi-cloud infrastructures. Treating Git as the single source of truth, the system detects drift and reconciles infrastructure to the desired state. With Argo CD, Crossplane, and OPA Gatekeeper, a Kubernetes control plane becomes a unified, policy-driven governance layer. Crossplane enables defining multi-cloud resources as declarative configurations in Git, while Argo CD reconciles the desired state of those resources against what is actually running. Attendees gain insights into building scalable remediation systems that reduce toil, improve compliance, and enhance multi-cloud security and reliability.
