Automated multi-environment deploys with Kargo, Kratix, Crossplane, and Kyverno
One Promise creating consistent multi-environment infrastructure and a deployment pipeline facilitating a standardised lower-to-higher environment promotion process for software application releases, with policy-based guardrails

Argo CD made it easy to manage applications, and Crossplane allowed teams to manage infrastructure similarly. But what about deploying and managing the same application and its infrastructure across multiple environments, ensuring artifact promotion between each, without resorting to multiple PRs and keeping it simple and repeatable for developers?
This session shows how each environment’s infrastructure can be abstracted using Kratix to control Crossplane, and how each environment’s deployments can be abstracted using Kargo to control promotion between Argo CD instances. One Promise creates consistent infrastructure each time, alongside a standardized lower-to-higher environment promotion process for software application releases.
It also covers how guardrails using Kyverno policies for both Kubernetes and Crossplane resources can automate most of the scrutiny traditionally performed during pull request reviews.
