Tug is a Copilot Specialist at GitHub, where he empowers developers to master GitHub and accelerate AI adoption across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Before joining GitHub, "Tug" built an extensive career in the tech ecosystem, including roles as:

- DevRel at Redis

- Director of Product Management at Red Hat

- Technical Evangelist at MapR, MongoDB, and Couchbase

- CTO at eXo Platform

- Product Manager & Developer on Oracle's JavaEE platform

Deeply committed to the developer community, Tugdual is also the co-founder of the Nantes JUG (Java User Group), which has gathered developers and architects in the Nantes region monthly since 2008.

Tug also develops windr.org, a project through which he shares his two greatest passions: Windsurfing and Code!
