Simon Bein is a software engineer leading efforts to improve platform engineering through open-source software. He is currently focused on kcp, a horizontally scalable control plane for Kubernetes-style APIs that can serve as a backbone for engineering platforms. In addition, he is working on making it easier to install applications into Kubernetes clusters and improving the experience of using Kubernetes locally.
