Ritesh Patel is Co-founder and Head of Products at Nirmata, the creators of Kyverno. He leads the strategy and development of Nirmata’s platforms for policy-driven security, governance, and automation for cloud-native and AI workloads running on Kubernetes. His work focuses on helping organizations safely adopt AI and machine learning by enforcing consistent security, compliance, and infrastructure governance across dynamic environments.

He brings more than 20 years of experience building and delivering enterprise software platforms. Prior to Nirmata, Ritesh held technical and business leadership roles at Brocade, Trapeze Networks, Nortel, and Motorola. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and an MS from Michigan State University.
