Vau is a passionate infrastructure and platform engineering enthusiast with extensive expertise spanning advanced datacenter networking, hypervisors, virtualization technologies, and comprehensive storage solutions.
As a Staff Engineer and Technical Lead for the Bitrise Platform Pillar’s Build Infrastructure team, he spearheaded the ambitious transition from VMware to an internally developed “Gen2” virtualization system, and more recently single-handedly architected the datacenter networking infrastructure with 10x scalability built into its foundations, among other projects.
When not conjuring enterprise infrastructure, he channels his energy into his oversized homelab, which once was just roughly 1TiB of RAM and more than 100 CPU cores.
