Guil Pires is a software engineer within the Data Platform team at Netflix, where he works on building DataMesh, a data movement and stream processing abstraction that enables engineers to move and process data incrementally. He plays a crucial role in managing tens of thousands of Flink jobs to ensure efficient data handling at scale. Outside of work, Pires enjoys spending time with his family and listening to great music.
