Aljoscha Pörtner

Aljoscha Pörtner studied computer science at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences/Germany. He worked as a research assistant at the IoT-Lab/Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and the Institute for Intelligent Cooperating Systems of the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg. During this time, his research focused on distributed robotics, multi-agent systems, and the interaction of external sensors/actuators (e.g., within smart home environments), robots, and humans.

He currently works as a Software and Platform Engineer in a logistics company. His field of interest covers DevOps/SRE, distributed systems, cyber security, and cloud computing. He is a believer in the Agile Manifesto and loves to work in autonomous, self-organized, and interdisciplinary teams.
