The platform team at Zolar has developed a CDK library that empowers development teams with autonomy over their infrastructure resources. By extending CloudFormation functionality with AWS Custom Resources, they’ve created custom CDK constructs that integrate AWS services with external providers, offering flexibility in tool selection for their solutions. These constructs, which include services like Auth0 Authentication, Kafka, and database resources, provide developers with more control while maintaining consistency.
