Designing the Agentic Development Platform

An Agentic Development Platform is the production infrastructure that lets AI agents do real work at scale — not assist a developer at the keyboard, but execute tasks across the value stream with scoped permissions, sandboxed environments, and validation loops that hold up under the volume agents generate. It’s an evolution of the Internal Developer Platform, not a replacement for it. The organizations building it now are operating on a fundamentally different curve.
