Secure AI-assisted development: Hands-on patterns for working safely with coding agents

This workshop is a build-focused introduction to AI-assisted development in a secure environment. Participants will implement features in a live application using AI agents, working through prompting, code review, debugging, and Git-based workflows.

Exercises are designed around common development tasks, with participants iterating on AI-generated code and managing changes through feature branches and pull requests. The session also introduces patterns for working within controlled environments, including scoped access and auditable workflows.

By the end, attendees will have built and shipped features while working through practical approaches they can apply in their own development workflows.
