How Infrastructure as Code should feel

With Infrastructure as Code increasingly becoming the default option for deploying cloud resources, you need to make sure your teams and projects are actually seeing the benefits and vs simply going through the motions.
Talk abstract

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) has taken the world by storm, and is now the default method of deploying cloud resources in many organizations. However with that kind of standardization, we can lose sight of why we chose tools and methodologies in the first place, seeking to check a box on a compliance document rather than realizing the benefits. In this talk we won't discuss the detail of how to implement IaC, nor why a team should adopt it in the first place. Instead we'll look at how IaC should feel for teams who already have it, and provide a path back to Nirvana for those who aren't seeing the benefits.
