Started 20 years ago as a system integrator and performance tester for different companies. 10 years ago I moved to Dutch Railways setting up a center for performance testing, test automation and security testing to help teams in quality engineering. As a result of the digital transformation at Dutch Railways, we are transforming to a platform organization.

Goal is to support the product teams with our quality engineering solutions from a platformisation perspective, do more standardisation, and scale it up.

My personal ambition is improving the Developer Experience.

From platform teams to a platform organization: Connecting the dots

A year ago we changed our existing platform approach. Where we (Central Platform Organisation) weren’t actually helping the developers, we needed to connect the dots. However we firstly needed to identify which dots were worthy. In this talk, we share lessons from our platform journey to improve developer experience from a fragmented approach to an integral approach; the developer journey.
